A One Cup Coffee Maker Is Great for Home or Office

Coffee specialization is here to stay whether you like it or not. I actually like it because I love my coffee! There are coffees available from all over the world and also roasted locally. There are a myriad of coffee makers to choose from today as well as any type of coffee accessory that you can think of. It’s no wonder that coffee is loved the world over because, if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t see the proliferation of all things coffee.

One extremely popular coffee maker today is called the one cup coffee maker. When I was a youngster, at the office you would always just brew up a pot of coffee if you ran out. Today, it’s not that way. At my workplace, we have three single serve coffee makers throughout the company. We don’t have the ever-popular Keurig brand of coffee maker (famous for the K cup), but it is similar in that it uses small foil packets that are placed in a cradle and brews one cup of coffee in a minute or two.

The only real problem in my mind with these versions of one cup coffee makers is that you are limited in your choices. I am a self-professed coffee lover and need to have the best coffee that I can find. With these packet or K-cup versions, you are limited to the coffee types that the company offers. That’s not good enough for me.

I bought a drip single cup coffee maker called the Black and Decker Brew N Go for my office but it is also a great option for the home. The benefits of a drip coffee maker are numerous. You can brew your favorite brand of coffee or you can mix different types to create a unique combination. If you are in the home, the Brew N Go brews directly into an insulated stainless steel mug that will keep your Java nice and hot for hours.

If you want to take a cup on the go, just brew it up before you leave the house and take the insulated mug with you to work, to the gym, or wherever! If you like multiple cups in the morning you can just use that mug for your 2nd or 3rd cups. If you have one of these single-serve models at work, you can brew a cup when you get in just like I do. I don’t settle for the company-offered brands and love to brew Starbucks or other specialty coffees every morning.

A one cup coffee maker is a great option for the coffee lover. They are reasonably-priced and, if you buy a drip version, you will never have to settle for anything less than your favorite brand of Joe!
