Hello to all and welcome to this review of the Bunn A10 coffee maker. I would like to try with this review to bring you all up to speed with the key features that really make this machine worthy of some serious attention.
First of all this machine is fast. I mean really fast. A lot of coffee makers available to buy at the moment have a not too unreasonable brewing speed of anywhere from 5 -8 minutes, the Bunn A10 however reduces this by about half, and with a brew time of just 3 minutes is probably the fastest on the market. This might sound like a gimmick, but having an extra 5 minutes first thing in the morning when you are trying to get out the door as fast as possible will become something you will surely adore.
After that we have the fact that this machine is a professional model of coffee maker and you likely see it at a local restaurant of place of business. These restaurant models are a little larger than the unit I am reviewing here, but they are essentially the same machine with the commercial model having just a few differences. The bigger model can brew 2 pots at the same time and has 3 hot plates. The model you get here however can produce exactly the same coffee, but is probably better suited for home or even office use.
The size of the machine is 6.7 inches wide by 13.5 inches deep, and when you factor in the space needed for the power and things like that we can see a huge chunk of our countertop disappearing when we set this unit down. The weight is pretty heavy as well coming in at around 14 pounds, this is certainly not lightweight by any means. I think all of this just goes to show how solid and durable this coffee maker is.
