Keurig Special Edition Brewing System Review – How Well Does It Work?

This Keurig Special Edition Brewing System review will provide you valuable insight into one of the most recognizable single-serve coffee makers on the market. I have decided to create it after having some positive experience with this machine over the past week.

However, this machine is not for everyone, which is why I highly recommend you do your research before buying investing in this coffee maker.

About This Machine

The Keurig Special Edition Brewing system is a premium-level single serve coffee maker. Now, I know true coffee fanatic would probably scoff at such an automated system, but from my experiences, this machine works quite well (and I’m a coffee fanatic myself!).

To use a Keurig coffee maker, all you have to do is insert a coffee-filled cartridge (called a K cup) into the machine, press a button, and within a few seconds you get a single cup of fresh coffee. It is great if you only drink one cup at a time, and it is super easy to use.

Plus, unlike other coffee systems, there is no messy clean-up!

There is a massive selection of K cups to choose from – they have literally any flavor you can think of. (butterscotch, irish cream, etc.) And nearly every major coffee company has a K cup on the market. Using the Keurig Special edition brewing system is an exciting opportunity for many people, because they like having this coffee selection at their finger tips.

My Personal Review

After using this system for about a week, I figured that I was well equipped to write a review for this machine

So far, I quite like it, although it doesn’t quite beat making coffee from freshly ground beans. But of course, if you don’t have access to a grinder (or you don’t have time to grind) then this machine is a viable substitute.

Using the machine is as easy as it sounds.

When you first turn it on, you have to let it warm up for about 4 minutes (called priming). A blue light turns on when the machine is warming up, and it turns off when the machine has reached the desired temperature.

Then you simply open up the loading chamber by lifting the center lever, insert a K cup, and press a button to brew coffee. You also have a choice of sizes: you can select small, medium, or large.

The coffee that this machine makes is full-bodied and well balanced. Since the coffee is sealed in an airtight cup, it maintains a lot of its aroma and flavor. Although this is not the same as freshly ground coffee, it is far more fresh than coffee that has been sitting in a tin for a few days.

All in all, my experiences using the Keurig special edition brewing system were quite positive, and I will continue to use it in the future when I want a quick fix of coffee.

Conclusion: Is This Machine Right For You?

You are well suited for the Keurig if you only need one cup of coffee at a time, and value convenience and ease of use over all else. Despite the highly automated nature of this machine, you can still generate good quality cups of coffee that come in a variety of flavors/roasts.

The Keurig also looks fantastic in any kitchen, with its chrome exterior and blue LED lights. It can add a modern touch to your kitchen appliances and is sure to become a frequent conversation piece when you have guests over.
